For many years, God has placed a passion on Dr. Paul Chappell’s heart for independent Baptist leaders to strive together for the faith of the Gospel (Philippians 1:27.) In that spirit, our team has been working for months on a new resource website called Ministry127.com (based upon Philippians 1:27.)
Just as the annual Spiritual Leadership Conference brings leaders together for mutual edification, even so, our prayer is that Ministry127.com will be a Spiritual Leadership Conference every day—online!
This site brings together a dynamic and diverse group of like-minded independent Baptist contributors—men and women who are leading the way in fruitful, local church ministry. And we’ve labored to build a strong initial library of resources—from ministry articles, to sermon helps, sermon outlines, videos, illustrations, powerpoint slides, podcasts, and more. It provides resources for:
- Pastors and Church Staff Members
- Deacons and Lay Leaders
- Parents and Families
- Sunday School Teachers
- Youth Workers
- Christian Educators
- And Many Others…

I was just listening to Dr. Chappell’s podcast for the month and wishing there were more ladies’ resources available. My son Andrew mentioned the new site this morning when I was talking to him, and I was so glad it had some ladies’ ministry resources included. Thank you to all of you who have been working on it – I’m one pastor’s wife who is looking forward to being inspired and helped in my own Christian growth, as well as my ladies’!
