We can only wish we had thought of some of those with either James or Heather! We have, however, shared the same tears at the memories and joy watching them grow up – and serve the Lord (that’s the BEST part!). Glad they are “just cars” – no matter how hard it is “in the moment” to think of them in that light…and now Alexis and Elisabeth are paying Heather back; and Ella and Jameson are paying James back. Sweet grandchildren equal sweet revenge! Thanks for putting all parents’ thoughts into words!

I was actually looking for a way to remove hardened laffy taffy from my car upholstery when I found this page. I am laughing SO hard! Thanks for that! I have an 8 year old and my car is so trashed I can’t even believe it. We took a day trip over the weekend and I nearly filled a paper shopping bag with all the junk this afternoon. We are actually nearing the point of needing to trade our car and in the process of cleaning we found that goo gone, ice, scraping with a knife are all NOT the solutions. Wish me luck. Oh, and the new car will allow no eating, drinking, coloring or paperclips! yeah, maybe for the first week!

The law of sowing and reaping, causes an incredible fear of having kids. This was a good reminder of why I need to wait a while. =) I am so scared of the inevitable. Thanks for the laughs.
