Amen! I give thanks and praise to God for this excellent series. I pray that He will use this teaching in many of the Churches where standards are slipping away. I will be sure to share this on Facebook for my friends and family to see. God bless you, Bro. Schmidt.

I enjoy reading the comments on here. It was good to see Mark's (a Youth Pastor from Fl.) comment. I'm glad God has a few Godly Pastors who still teach the truths in His word. I was saved at 22 years of age and had a wonderful Pastor who taught the new converts the whole Word of God including how we should dress to please the Lord , and his wife always set the example. We are told that our Pastor taught us too strict but I thank God almost every day for his good teaching and at 72 I still try to dress to please the Lord.
I don't know why David happened to be where he could see Bathsheba bathing which caused him to be tempted to sin but he wouldn't have to go far today to see nakedness as even the churches are full of it. Someone has to give an account if they don't teach it from the pulpit. When I stand before God I won't be able to point a finger at my old Pastor and say he never told me or taught me how to live for God , even in how I should dress to please God. All I can say is I am Blessed.
God Bless you and your church.

This is great teaching. I hadn't heard it in quite that way before. The statement you made , why should the Lord get less respect than the dead tells it all. Keep up the good work. God Bless you real good.
I have a question ; Are you the Cary Schmidt that played the music on the CD,"Vision". It is beautiful! and such a Blessing. I would love to get that CD, Just one more soul, do you know how I could get it?

Unfortunately many in spiritual leadership, in a misguided effort to "identify" or "to connect" are lowering the bar for the next generation. Thanks for your encouragement.

Great points. I used to attend a 'church' where the pastor became the worst dressed person there. I respect him very little at this point for a variety of reasons - dress being of lesser importance. Doing all to the glory of God; sadly this is not easily agreed upon.

Thanks Bro. Schmidt this is excellent insight! I'm living in the mid-west and it seems like by the activities alone many churches "encourage" teens to have lower dress standards.
